2026 Against the Grain Single Virgin Oak Cask American Bourbon-Style Whiskey

The 2026 Against The Grain is Whittaker's 2nd American Bourbon-style Whiskey Release.   It is a single virgin oak cask aged whiskey 58.9% ABV Cask strength and is made in the traditional way using 75% corn and also Laureate barley.  This is still the first ever American Bourbon-style whiskey to be produced in the Yorkshire Dales. 

Cask number 113, distilled in July 2022 and bottled in April 2026.  There are only 258 bottles available. 

We still get customers coming in to purchase a year after the release of the 2025 release as it was sooooo good and this is even better so please don't miss out on your bottles this time!

The sweetness from the corn and grain gives off notes of caramel and honey.  The oak influence gives notes of baking spices like cinnamon and clove. The finish lingers with continued flavours of vanilla and toffee.
